This is my first attempt — the design is based on the expanding and contracting mechanism of a bendy straw. It would be made of recycled paperboard and recycled PET plastic. The housing can be recycled and the remaining glue can be properly disposed of.

This is my second iteration of the redesign. This origami inspired design can be un-twisted and ripped along its perforations to recycle the recycled paperboard shell. The cap can also be recycled, leaving the remaining bag of interior glue to be regularly disposed of.
